Custom Designs
Every property is different. Block size, shape, side access, the position of the existing home and available backyard space all influence the best location and layout for a granny flat.
In most cases, we don't start from scratch. Instead, we make minor adjustments to one of our proven floor plans so it works perfectly with your property. This allows us to maximise the available space while maintaining a practical, functional layout that has already been refined through years of building experience.
The best part is that these customisations generally come at no additional cost. Whether we make small changes to the design or construct the customised layout, our standard design and building prices remain the same. Only highly specialised projects, such as split level granny flats, architecturally designed or extensively customised layouts, may require additional design and construction costs.
Where required, a Development Application (DA) can provide greater flexibility with planning controls, allowing us to achieve a design that may not be possible under Complying Development.
Our goal is simple. To design a granny flat that makes the best use of your property while meeting all planning and building requirements.
